"The power of innovation and the pen of endeavor"

On August 1st, taken the of innovation and the pen of endeavor as the theme, the summit dialogue for coordinated development of Dongguan merchants and the 2018 general meeting of Songshan Lake Association for Dongguan Merchants were successfully held in Songshan Lake Hyatt Hotel. Vice-president of municipal CPPCC Liang Jiaxin, standing vice-secretary of municipal united front work department Ma Fengbiao, municipal advisor Song Tao, chairman of China council for the promotion of international trade Zeng Minsheng, member of the party union&deputy director of management committee of Songshan Lake Liu Zhongyuan together with other leaders and all members of Songshan Lake Association for Dongguan Merchants attended the conference. Nearly 400 peaple attended the conference including representatives from 32 town office in Dongguan, medias and people from all walks of life. As president of Songshan Lake Association for Dongguan Merchants, president of Handsome Investment Group Chen Manxin attended the event.

At the general conference, all the members came as agreed. First, they visited the science museum of the ecological city of Songshan lake, and felt the charm of the science & technology and the industry flying together with the new city of Songshan lake. Then, on the theme of "the power of innovation and the pen of endeavor", they reviewed the steps of the last year and deployed the priorities of the coming new year. At the same time, the conference examined and approved some related reports, and adopted the suggestion of establishing the working committee of female Dongguan merchants, the service committee of financial innovation and the linking committee of industrial resources. Besides, the conference reviewed and adopted some personnel-related suggestions, and Lu Qiyun, former deputy secretary of Songshan Lake Association for Dongguan Merchants was appointed executive secretary.

To better understand The thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the conference actively carried on the summit dialogue where four experts from related areas conducted a discussion on how to put the conception of coordinated development into practice to make Songshan lake district to become a bright star of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao great bay area under the new historical conditions.

At the following appreciation party, Chen Manxin, president of Dongguan Handsome Investment Group and president of Songshan Association of Dongguan Merchants, expressed his warm welcome and heart-felt appreciation to all the participants from various areas. Chen Manxin mentioned that Dongguan was facing a new opportunity with the deepening development of the Innovative Corridor of Science and Technology of Guangzhou-Shenzhen and the new start of construction of Marina Bay. Therefore, Songshan Lake Association for Dongguan Merchants would open a new bureau with the spirit of not waiting for a moment, followed on the policies to build a harmonious relation between government and merchants, play the role of bride to link all kinds of resources, carried on external communications to expand channels for innovation and enriched the activities to improve the image of Dongguan merchants.
